General Function:
Travel to local client facilities to pick up analytical samples on a daily basis. Maintain sample integrity between client location and laboratory.
Characteristic Duties and
Responsibilities:
1) Represent DonLevy Laboratories, Inc. through professional demeanor.
2) Organize daily workload to provide timely service.
3) Maintain sample integrity; prevent temperature abuse and contamination.
4) Perform daily pick up as expediently as possible to enhance laboratory efficiency.
5) Maintain company vehicle.
6) Additional duties as assigned.
Reporting Relationships:
Direction Received: Reports to Courier Supervisor
Direction Given: May provide training for substitute courier
Minimum Requirements:
Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and exemplary driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Desirable Traits:
Organizational skills and the ability to think on your feet; desire to be productive team member who exhibits until the job is done behavior.
Working Conditions:
Physical effort requires walking and standing with some lifting and carrying. Some exposure to unpleasant elements. Some element of personal risk due to number of road hours required.
