You must be a compassionate, self-motivated, reliable team player, who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
Some duties for this position include, but not limited to:
Feeding and providing water for boarders and hospitalized patients.
Administer medications to pets as noted on med cards.
Walk dogs three times a day.
Be observant/document about behavior and health issues concerning boarding pets.
Maintain the cleanliness of the clinic, including kennel area, runs, treatment areas, and outside grounds.
Maintain washing, drying, and folding of laundry throughout the day.
Wash food and water bowls and put them away in an orderly fashion.
Assisting the Doctor and Technicians when necessary.
Taking trash out and keeping floors swept and mopped.
Bathing boarders Responsible for all other duties as assigned by the kennel manager.
Requirements:
Must have good communication skills and be able to work well with others.
The right candidate must be flexible with scheduling including split shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Attention to detail, positive attitude, able to handle all types of dogs.
Previous experience working in a kennel environment is a plus.
