We are looking for an Office Manager to be responsible for the supervision and management of the client service team.
This leadership position sets the example of elite customer service required for all hospital staff.
The Office Manager should have general veterinary medical knowledge to ensure exceptional client service is provided and that standards of care are met.
The office manager must possess excellent communication skills, and confidence to deal with stressful situations and difficult employees/clients.
Job
Responsibilities:
All duties outlined in the client service representative job description Facilitates resolution of client problems in conjunction with doctors or other staff member as appropriate Resolve financial problems with clients including collection of delinquent accounts and determination of eligibility for financial programs available.
Assist shift leaders with end-of-day procedures as needed Assist practice manager with inventory management Maintain relationships with product representatives and schedule team training as needed Manage rescue and shelter relationships - keeping an open dialogue with representatives and regularly updating the price list Assist the practice manager in accounts receivable maintenance Review charts of patients being discharged from the hospital for completeness of information Follow and enforce guidelines in the employee handbook, including proper documentation and disciplinary procedures Draft work schedules for client service team Utilize client service training program for new hires and shift leaders Organize monthly team and shift leader meetings; keep written notes of discussions and decisions Conduct interviews and assist hiring manager as needed Complete performance and compensation evaluations for all client service team members annually Attend mandatory continuing education as required Skills Needed:

Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Endure standing and walking on hard floor surfaces for extended periods of time Able to work in noisy work conditions with sounds from animals and equipment Take safety precautions for exposure to toxins, drugs, anesthesia and radiation

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
